Biography
A life shaped by music
Roots
Sarah Gibson is a Nashville-based singer and multi-instrumentalist whose relationship with music began long before she ever stepped into a recording studio.
Music runs through her family. Her father attended Berklee College of Music in the 1980s, while her mother was a first-chair saxophonist. Growing up surrounded by musicianship, Sarah began developing her own voice as an artist across multiple instruments.
Range
Driven by curiosity and a lifelong love of creating, Sarah has studied and performed on piano, guitar, saxophone, cello, bass, drums, strings, and voice. That versatility continues to shape the way she hears arrangements and approaches each song.
Her musical world moves naturally between jazz standards, soul, pop, cinematic arrangements, and original songwriting. Rather than being defined by a single genre, Sarah is drawn to songs with character, emotion, and something worth saying.
The Stage
Throughout her career, Sarah has shared the stage with legendary performers Don Felder of the Eagles and Wayne Newton. Her online performances have also reached audiences around the world, including her rendition of “Why Don’t You Do Right?” which has received nearly two million views.
Nashville
Now based in Nashville, Sarah is continuing to develop her catalog of original music, record new interpretations, and collaborate with musicians throughout Music City.
For Sarah, music has never simply been something she performs. It is how she communicates.
“Where words fail, music speaks.”
